About the Retreat

Join us for an immersive 3-day Family Constellations retreat, facilitated by Shavasti (John L. Payne).

This retreat offers a heart-centered space to explore your blockages and unconscious family patterns, opening the path to greater clarity and inner peace.

No prior experience is necessary. You will be in a small group where everyone can experience profound realizations.

The retreat will be facilitated by John L. Payne, known under Shavasti. He is among the most experienced facilitators in the world, with 30 years of experience in the field of human healing. He learnt from several teachers, including from the very founder of Family Constellations, Bert Hellinger. He is also the author of five books on emotional healing, consciousness, and personal transformation, and teaches in several international institutes.

Through his work, Shavasti creates a deeply human and compassionate space where clarity, peace, and inner transformation can naturally emerge.

Your Experience During the 3 Days

The retreat will take place in a small group, where each participant will have the opportunity to be an issue holder to work on their specific problematic, with the support of the group.


Participants will also be invited to represent for others, making themselves available to embody an element in someone else's constellation. As representatives, participants frequently experience profound realizations, as the roles they are chosen for frequently resonate with their own history.

During these three days, you will benefit from your own constellation and from the numerous transformations that unfold through the work of others. Shavasti will also be sharing his teachings throughout the retreat. It is a rich, human, and deeply liberating experience.

What are Family Constellations?

This therapeutic method allows you to explore the invisible dynamics that influence your life. Sometimes, certain difficulties repeat themselves: in relationships, work, health, self-confidence, or finances. There can also be a feeling of being blocked, without understanding why.

Constellations reveal these hidden dynamics, often linked to our family system or to events from the past. The process creates a sort of "living map" of the situation, which helps you see the profound origins of these difficulties more clearly.

This often opens the door to new inner movements, greater understanding, and opening to life.

How does it work?

Recent scientific research suggests that experiences lived by our ancestors can influence our behavior and emotions today.

Epigenetics shows that certain experiences, particularly traumas, can leave biological imprints that are passed down from one generation to the next.

Family Constellations work directly with these transgenerational dynamics. By bringing these invisible connections to light, it becomes possible to release limiting patterns and to regain a deeper sense of inner freedom.

Your Facilitator

Internationally known by his author name Shavasti, John L. Payne has accompanied individuals and groups for nearly 30 years in the field of human healing.

He is among the most experienced facilitators, with over 25 years experience in Family constellations. Shavasti learnt from several teachers, and partook in training with its originator, Bert Hellinger.

His background includes more than 8,000 private sessions, over 500 workshops facilitated worldwide, and the publication of five books. He is also a teacher in numerous international institutions.

Through his work, he creates a profound and safe space allowing access to the heart — where clarity, empathy, and healing can emerge.

Your Coordinator

Yasmine is a facilitator in family constellations. After several years of a career in finance, she chose to deepen her path in human healing. She trained in family constellations internationally, notably in London, alongside experienced facilitators.

Passionate about this work, she wishes today to share it with her community, and invite recognized facilitators worldwide.

Do I need a visa?

In most instances, you would not need a visa to travel to Morocco.

Rabat has a mediterranean temperate weather - expect 25-30 C / 77-86 F.

What language will the retreat be?

Shavasti, (John L. Payne) will be driving the constellations in English. Translation to French will be offered if needed.

Is it worth spending more time in Morocco?

Yes! We highly encourage you to use this opportunity to visit around - Rabat has a lot to offer with its old town, and other major cities like Marrakech, Tangier, Fes are all within a few hours by train/car from Rabat.
